Job Description

Job Title - Salesforce Business Analyst cum QA.

Experience - 2- 5 Years

Work mode - Hybrid

Work Location - Chennai

Notice Period - Immediate to 15 Days

We are looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst cum QA to join our Salesforce team and play a key role in bridging business requirements with system functionality across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud. This hybrid role combines analytical thinking, precise documentation, and hands-on quality validation to ensure that our Salesforce solutions remain robust, scalable, and business-aligned.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both business processes and Salesforce CRM logic, be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and demonstrate strong testing discipline to deliver error-free, high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements across Sales, Service, and Marketing functions.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze existing Salesforce processes and propose optimization or automation improvements.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solution feasibility and scalability.
  • Maintain end-to-end process documentation and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Quality Assurance

  • Plan and execute functional, regression, and integration testingfor Salesforce releases.
  • Design detailed test cases and test scripts aligned to business requirements.
  • Validate end-to-end workflows such as lead management, case handling, customer communication, and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate UAT, gather user feedback, and ensure smooth go-live transitions.
  • Log, track, and manage issues using Jira (or equivalent tools) through closure.

Governance & Support

  • Ensure all changes adhere to Salesforce best practices and governance standards.
  • Conduct post-deployment validation and production monitoring.
  • Document test results, known issues, and user training materials.
  • Work with Admins and Architects to uphold data integrity and system consistency across environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 25 years total experience, including 2+ years in Salesforce BA or QA roles.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, test case design, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with sandbox testing, UAT, and release management processes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Excel/Sheets, and Salesforce reporting.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Salesforce Certifications: Administrator, Business Analyst, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.
  • Basic understanding of Apex, SOQL, or data migration testing.
  • Exposure to third-party integrations, APIs, or middleware platforms.
  • Experience validating campaign automation or customer engagement journeys.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum delivery models.
