Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Communication:
  • Facilitate discussions between Product Managers and developers, ensuring clear communication of product requirements and technical constraints.
  • Work closely with the CRM Product Anchors and Product Managers to drive continuous technical improvements in the Salesforce Core Sales & Service Cloud product.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead other developers in reducing complexity and utilizing out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities wherever possible to streamline development.
  • Mentor and support junior developers through all stages of delivery, providing hands-on support as needed.
  • Solution Delivery:
  • Deliver engineering excellence by applying best practices and quality standards in an iterative fashion, aligned with the product vision and meeting customer needs.
  • Understand and execute solutions requested by Product Managers, clarifying acceptance criteria and suggesting options while minimizing customizations.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Work with the product team to define when customization is necessary or when out-of-the-box solutions will suffice.
  • Deliver industry-leading solutions that maximize the value and productivity for commercial customers based on the Salesforce platform.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with other CRM product teams to deliver integrated solutions and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure end-to-end testing of solutions using Salesforce and other industry tools, ensuring the highest quality deliverables.
  • Documentation & Support:
  • Contribute to the documentation for architecture, training materials, release notes, and deployment processes.
  • Provide user support and deployment support as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  • Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud expertise with a deep understanding of CRM functionalities and product delivery.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring experience with the ability to guide junior developers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in evaluating when custom solutions are required versus leveraging Salesforce's out-of-the-box features.
  • Experience in delivering quality solutions iteratively, adhering to best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in end-to-end testing, solution deployment, and user support.
