Job Summary
We are seeking an Salesforce Jr. Architect to serve as the primary technical authority for designing and implementing complex, large-scale Salesforce solutions. With over 12 years of hands-on experience, you will focus on high-impact architectural design, platform integrity, and technical standards. This is a non-managerial, expert-level individual contributor role, focused exclusively on the depth and quality of technical architecture across the entire Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Governance
- Solution Blueprinting: Design and document end-to-end technical blueprints for major enterprise initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable across all Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, etc.).
- Platform Integrity: Own the overall technical health, security model, and data architecture of the Salesforce Org, proactively identifying and mitigating technical debt and governor limit risks.
- Standards & Best Practices: Define and enforce organization-wide coding standards, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes for both declarative and programmatic development.
- Roadmapping: Contribute to the multi-year Salesforce technology roadmap, evaluating new products (e.g., Data Cloud, AI/Einstein) and making architectural recommendations to support long-term business strategy.
Advanced Development & Integration
- Complex Development: Lead by example by tackling the most complex technical user stories, developing advanced solutions using Apex (Async/Batch/Queueable), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced Flows.
- Integration Strategy: Architect real-time and event-driven integrations with external enterprise systems (ERP, Data Warehouse, other cloud platforms) using Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Streaming) and middleware like MuleSoft or Kafka.
- DevOps Mastery: Define the CI/CD strategy and utilize advanced DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, SFDX, Git) to ensure zero-downtime deployments and maintain a robust application lifecycle management (ALM).
Technical Consulting & Mentorship
- Technical Authority: Serve as the final escalation point for complex design trade-offs, performance tuning issues, and critical system outages.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex technical challenges and architectural decisions into clear, concise language for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Provide advanced technical leadership and mentorship to Senior Developers and Junior Architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and architectural thinking.
