Job Description

Position: Sales/ Sr. Sales Engineer

Location:Aurangabad

Experience:4-8 yrs

 

Role Summary

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth and business development across the Aurangabad and Ahmednagar regions. The role involves developing new business opportunities, particularly in the Bidkin Industrial Area, managing existing customer accounts, and overseeing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to payment collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve regional sales targets and strengthen market presence.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, references, and market research.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including RFQ handling, quotation submission, order finalization, and payment collection.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Design, Production, Logistics, and Head OAice to ensure timely customer support.
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain accurate sales reports.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, and promotional events.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support business development activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Experience in industrial products, automation solutions, or engineering component sales.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and local language(s).
  • Excellent negotiation, customer relationship management, and account handling skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Self-motivated with a strong focus on achieving business targets.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
