Job Description: Sales Manager (Health Services Industry, India)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

- Identify target market segments, customer profiles, and sales channels to optimize sales efforts.

- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify sales opportunities and tailor strategies accordingly.

- Set sales targets and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.

2. Team Leadership and Management:

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

- Set clear sales targets, objectives, and territories for team members, ensuring alignment with overall sales strategy.

- Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.

- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

3. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, and other healthcare providers.

- Identify client needs and requirements, providing appropriate solutions and customized proposals.

- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to drive sales and secure long-term partnerships.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.

4. Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:

- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.

- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and KPIs to senior management.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize sales performance and efficiency.

- Utilize CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage sales activities, pipeline, and customer data.

5. Market Expansion and Business Development:

- Identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and emerging market trends within the healthcare industry in India.

- Collaborate with the business development team to convert leads into sales and expand the company's customer base.

- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote services and generate leads.

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience as a sales Manager of 8 to 10 years, in the healthcare or related industry in India.

- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience in building and developing high-performing sales teams.

- In-depth knowledge of the Indian healthcare ecosystem, including market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Strategic mindset and ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive business growth.

- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.

Compensation: From 5.00 lacs to 7.20 lacs per annum CTC
