Designation Sales Manager (US Market Technical/IT Services)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the US market.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across the target industries.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiations and closure.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored IT solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to align offerings with market demand.
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of trends, meet client expectations, and maintain a competitive edge.
- Utilize CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track performance metrics, forecast sales, and manage the pipeline
- Represent the company at US-based industry events, client meetings, and conferences to build visibility and trust.
- Ensure high client satisfaction, account retention, and growth through proactive communication and service excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 2+ years of proven experience in sales, with a focus on the US market and IT services is a must.
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or surpassing sales quotas
- Strong grasp of US business culture, sales practices, procurement processes, and compliance regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Proficient in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
- Prior experience in Technical/IT Services sales is essential
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and goal-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills:
- Deep understanding of the IT services domain, including iOS and Android applications, Custom Web and App applications, Artificial Intelligence, APIs, and more.
- Familiarity with US compliance frameworks and procurement procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, foster relationships, and maintain engaging conversations with clients
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and resilience in a fast-paced sales environment
- Comfortable working across different time zones with a flexible schedule when required
