Role Description The Sales Manager – Personal Loan role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh. This role involves managing and growing the personal loan business by achieving sales targets, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities in the region. The Sales Manager will oversee lead generation, conversion, and post-sales follow-up to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and channel partners, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role also includes mentoring and supporting team members to improve performance and maintain a high standard of service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or business development in retail lending or consumer finance, preferably in personal loans.
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and close deals effectively.
- Ability to analyze sales data, monitor market trends, and derive insights to drive growth and improve performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse customer segments and internal teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet targets.
- Working knowledge of financial products, credit processes, and regulatory requirements within the NBFC or banking sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort with on-site work in Chandigarh, including field visits, customer meetings, and partner interactions as required.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or sales tracking tools.
