Job Summary:
The Sales Manager / BDM will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, client acquisition, and revenue growth within the IT staffing and consulting domain. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, deep understanding of IT hiring needs, and experience working with MSP/VMS clients and direct enterprise accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT staffing (Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Full-Time placements).
- Generate leads through cold calls, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers such as HR, Procurement, and Hiring Managers.
- Respond to RFPs/RFQs and negotiate business terms and service agreements.
2. Account Management
- Manage existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with recruitment and delivery teams to fulfill client requirements effectively.
- Monitor client feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts.
3. Revenue & Target Achievement
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Track pipeline activity and forecast revenue using CRM tools.
- Manage pricing, margins, and negotiations to ensure profitability.
4. Market Intelligence
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Provide strategic input for service offerings and market expansion.
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (Recruitment, HR, Finance, and Operations) to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and participation in industry events.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 615 years in IT staffing sales or business development (Domestic / US / Global markets).
- Proven track record of generating new business and managing client accounts in the staffing domain.
- Strong network within enterprise clients, MSPs, and VMS programs.
- Good understanding of IT skills, job roles, and hiring trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a target-driven environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) preferred.
