You will be working as a Sales Manager and Product Manager (Modules & IDTO) at Global Grade 12 and will be part of Motion Business Area in Bangalore North, India. In this role, you will be reporting to Marketing and Sales Manager and will be responsible for developing and maintaining a sales strategy for ABB in various market areas to improve market penetration and achieve growth. The strategy includes setting and executing sales targets for products, systems, and services, monitoring performance, and leading the sales organization within the assigned scope (global/regional/local) to exceed targets both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Your responsibilities

  • Creating, planning and implementing sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the Business Area/Division/Product Group.
  • Developing, implementing and reviewing sales processes and tools, and all related training and development activities
  • Defining sales targets, establishing metrics, and monitoring performance, anticipating and addressing performance shortfalls, driving top line growth
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global/local basis, determines plans for implementation and allocates resources
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, planning and executing surveys to ensure customer satisfaction, and actively participates in global contract negotiations
  • Monitoring and maintaining sales market price levels, evaluating their impact on results, and supporting local sales organizations to achieve sales volume and product mix targets
  • Monitoring client financial status, reporting potential risks to internal partner teams, and managing potential risks to contract agreements, including cyber security risks
  • Ensuring the organization, staffing, skilling, and direction of their area of responsibility, coaching and developing subordinates within HR policies, and driving knowledge sharing and cross-collaboration

Your background

  • BE/BTECH Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • 10+ Years of experience in handling Sales & Product Management for Low Voltage & High Voltage Systems Drives
  • Must have good mail Etiquettes and communication skills
  • Fluency in English
