Primary Title: Jewellery Sales Executive Business Development
About The Opportunity
A high-growth organisation in the Luxury Retail & Wholesale Jewellery sector operating across India. We specialise in design-led fine jewellery collections and build long-term B2B and retail relationships through differentiated product assortments, superior service, and channel expansion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition across assigned territoryidentify, qualify and convert B2B and retail leads to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Manage key accounts and dealer relationships; negotiate terms, close orders, and ensure timely delivery and follow-up to maximise repeat revenue.
- Expand distribution channels by onboarding retailers, showrooms, and corporate clients; coordinate merchandising and product placement.
- Plan and execute territory sales strategies, route plans, and periodic market visits to increase market share and brand presence.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales forecasts and reports, and use data to optimise pipeline and conversion activities.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions and client events; collect market intelligence and competitor insights to inform assortment and pricing.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience in jewellery sales (B2B or retail) with demonstrated revenue achievement.
- Strong track record in key account management and territory development.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and pipeline management.
- Ability to generate and qualify leads, negotiate commercial terms, and close high-value transactions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for sales tracking, reporting and basic analytics.
- Willingness to work on-site with frequent travel across the assigned region in India.
Preferred
- Familiarity with precious metals and gemstone product knowledge.
- Experience participating in trade shows and jewellery exhibitions.
- Exposure to ERP or order-management systems (Tally, Zoho, NetSuite).
