Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth by identifying, engaging, and converting manufacturing companies into Zubcon customers. This role is perfect for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a startup environment and is passionate about transforming how manufacturers manage their inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities
i. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential manufacturing clients across various industries (automotive, tractors, EV, etc.)
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to generate leads and track prospect engagement
ii. Sales & Relationship Management
- Conduct product demonstrations showcasing Zubcon's distributed inventory management capabilities
- Understand manufacturing pain points related to inventory visibility, production planning, and supply chain management
- Present tailored solutions that address specific client challenges and business objectives
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining healthy profit margins
iii. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Stay updated on manufacturing industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape
- Gather market feedback to inform product development and positioning strategies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials
iv. Client Success & Expansion
- Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Maintain long-term relationships to drive customer retention and referrals
Required Qualifications
>> Experience & Background
- 2-4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, manufacturing, or supply chain technology
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience with complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
>>Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil/Hindi
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analytics
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, or supply chain processes (preferred)
- Ability to translate technical features into business value propositions
