Who are we looking for

We are partnering with a global consulting firm that is supporting a leading FMCG player in the skin & hair care category. The client is looking to onboard a Brand Strategy & GTM Consultant to shape and execute high-impact marketing, sales, and branding initiatives. This person will be responsible for new product launches, accelerating sales, optimizing market presence, and working closely with senior client stakeholdersto truly make a difference.

• Duration: 12 months initially, extendable up to 2 years
• Location: Kolkata (weekly travel to client location required)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Shape brand strategy, positioning, and go-to-market plans for the skin & hair care portfolio
• Lead GTM initiatives and new product launches with execution excellence across General Trade, Modern Trade, and E-commerce
• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to uncover whitespace opportunities and optimize sales
• Interface directly with senior client stakeholders, providing strong communication, influence, and direction
• Build and maintain performance dashboards to measure outcomes and ensure business impact

Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-9 years experience in FMCG and GTM strategy; consulting experience strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving and independent thinking skills
• Experience handling senior stakeholder conversations with confidence
• Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Deep sector expertise in FMCG / Consumer Goods
