Role: Sales & Marketing Specialist (Remote, Contract)

This is a remote, contract-based Sales & Marketing Specialist role at CodeWiser.

You will play a key part in driving CodeWiser's growth with colleges, training institutes, and individual learners. Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, prospecting, and closing new institutional and individual customers
  • Engaging with leads to understand their needs and positioning CodeWiser's solutions effectively
  • Developing and executing marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer and partner relationships
  • Assisting in building sales processes, playbooks, and basic training materials to improve performance and scalability
  • Providing regular updates on pipeline, conversions, and campaign performance

This role is performance-driven and best suited for someone who wants direct ownership over revenue outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience or strong interest in sales, business development, or sales management
  • Comfort with outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn, events) and handling objections
  • Ability to participate in training activities and create or refine supporting materials (scripts, decks, FAQs)
  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Background in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required
  • Bonus: Familiarity or interest in EdTech, software engineering, or the Indian higher education ecosystem
Compensation & Contract Terms
  • Contract Duration:
  • Initial term of 3 months, after which the agreement can be reviewed and renegotiated based on performance and mutual fit.
  • Fixed Stipend: 10,000 per month (fixed) for the duration of the contract.
  • Performance-Based Compensation (Revenue Share): You will receive 20% of all revenue that you directly bring in during the contract period.
  • Revenue attribution will be based on clearly trackable deals and customers closed through your efforts (e.g., leads you sourced or managed end-to-end).
  • This 20% revenue share is in addition to the fixed monthly stipend.
