Title: Safety Supervisor – Data Center Projects (Construction)
Location: Noida
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Experience in Permit-to-Work (PTW), HIRA, JSA, and safety inspections.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, safety procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Monitor construction activities such as excavation, scaffolding, work at height, electrical work, lifting operations, welding, MEP, and HVAC installation.
- Implement and monitor the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for Hot Work, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Lifting, Excavation, and Electrical Isolation (LOTO).
- Assist in Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and implementation of control measures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel on site.
- Report, investigate, and maintain records of near misses, incidents, and accidents, and support corrective actions.
- Participate in emergency response activities, fire drills, evacuation drills, and first aid preparedness.
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, PTW records, and compliance registers.
- Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices throughout the project.
- Ensure compliance with BOCW Act, National Building Code (NBC), applicable IS Standards, and client HSE requirements.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety and HSE regulations.
- Experience in Permit-to-Work (PTW), HIRA, JSA, and safety inspections.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of PPE, emergency response, fire safety, and incident reporting.
- Ability to work effectively with site engineers, contractors, and workers.
Preferred Qualification:
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety or a relevant Safety certification.
- Experience in building construction projects preferred.
