Ruby Automation

Description

We are looking for an experienced Ruby Automation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and Ruby programming, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing automated test scripts using Ruby
• Collaborating with development teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline
• Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs and issues during the testing process
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
• Maintaining and updating existing test automation frameworks
• Participating in requirement analysis and design discussions to ensure testability of features

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in software development or automation testing
• Proficiency in Ruby programming language
• Experience with automation testing frameworks such as RSpec, Capybara, or Selenium
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
