The Robotics Engineer,

Details Of The Engineering Scope Of Work

  • Design & Development
    • Design robotic kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning strategies.
    • Implement robotic arm and mobile platform configurations.
    • Develop algorithms for trajectory optimization and motion control.
    • Ensure robot positions align accurately with provided 3D files.
    • Optimize robot trajectories for smooth motion, allowing 100% speed operation without overloading robot axes.
  • System Integration
    • Integrate perception systems, including cameras, LiDAR, and IMU sensors.
    • Implement real-time data processing for enhanced robotic perception.
    • Ensure seamless communication between robot controllers and external systems.
    • Comply with software requirements, using tools such as:
      • FANUC: Roboguide (version 9 Rev. T)
      • KUKA: WorkVisual (version 6.0), KUKA.SIM (version 4.3)
      • ABB: RobotStudio (version 2024)
      • STAUBLI: SRS (version 2022.3.3)
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Develop safety protocols in accordance with industry standards (ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06, etc.).
    • Perform risk assessments and implement fail-safe mechanisms.
    • Validate compliance with functional safety requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with programming standards, requiring:
    • Clean, well-structured, optimized, and properly commented code with no leftover scripts.
    • Fault-free execution and adherence to best programming practices.
  • Testing & Validation
    • Conduct simulation-based and real-world testing of robotic applications.
    • Perform debugging and fine-tuning to optimize system performance.
    • Ensure system reliability and robustness through iterative validation processes.
    • Provide simulation videos covering all sequences for validation purposes.
  • On-Site Support
    • Travel to customer sites for debugging, system commissioning, and machine qualification.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting as required.
    • Assist in training end-users on system operation and maintenance.
    • Participate in follow-up meetings as scheduled by the Client.
Additionally, The Role Requires The Following Experience,

  • Participate in concept development to obtain the best quality, cost and deadline.
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and new products.
  • Review self-work and peer work
  • Create design documentation, manuals etc.

Work Experience

  • Robotics and Vision systems programming. Previous experience in programming tools of FANUC, KUKA, ABB, STAUBLI, COGNEX.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Software Tools

Soft Skills

  • Working experience in an international team
  • Green Belt 6-Sigma Certification / Experience Good to have
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Flexible to travel
  • Knowledge of Spanish, Polish, Chinese or German will be positively valued
