About the Role
As a Robotics Annotation Engineer you will analyze robotic workflows, annotate robotic task data, evaluate robot actions, and provide structured feedback that helps improve advanced AI-driven robot systems.This role involves reviewing robot behavior, identifying errors, and ensuring that robotic decision-making is accurate, safe, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Annotate robotic environment data, task steps, sensor information, trajectories, and actions
- Evaluate robot decisions, task execution quality, and motion correctness
- Review robot workflows and identify incorrect, unsafe, or suboptimal actions
- Provide detailed feedback for improving robotic task execution
- Follow structured annotation guidelines to ensure high-quality outputs
- Document observations, issues, and improvement suggestions
- Collaborate with AI/robotics teams to refine datasets and evaluation criteria
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail across all annotation tasks.
Skills & Experience Required
- 17 years experience in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or Embedded Engineering
- Basic understanding of robotic workflows, sensors, perception, and motion
- Experience using or observing robotic systems (robotic arms, mobile robots, AGVs, drones, etc.)
- Familiarity with robotics frameworks (ROS/ROS2 is a plus)
- Ability to evaluate task execution quality and identify incorrect behaviors
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Prior annotation or QA experience is a bonus
