Position Overview
We are currently looking for a Revit - Civil Engineer with 3 - 8 years of experience in industrial and building project environments. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate BIM models, coordinated drawings, and mechanical system layouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain civil engineering BIM models in Autodesk Revit
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, sections, and construction documentation
- Prepare reinforcement drawings and reinforcement detailing.
- Prepare bar bending schedule.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams
- Create site plans, grading plans, drainage layouts, and utility models
- Review project specifications and ensure compliance with standards
- Perform quantity take-offs and assist in project planning
- Update models based on design revisions and site changes.
- Support clash detection and BIM coordination activities
- Maintain project files and documentation standards
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and civil drafting standards
- Understanding of BIM workflows and coordination
- Familiarity with civil engineering concepts such as foundations, floor beams, roads, grading, utilities, and drainage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Experience with BIM projects
- Knowledge of Auto desk Civil 3D is an advantage
- 3–8 years of relevant experience (varies by role)
