Role: Revenue The Staff Accountant

Location: Bangalore (locals)

Role Summary:

Responsible for managing end-to-end revenue processes, including revenue accounting, revenue operations, accounts receivable, and collections. Ensures accurate revenue recognition, efficient cash flow management, and system-driven process optimization using NetSuite and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15

• Manage the full revenue lifecycle: order validation, billing, invoicing, AR, and collections

• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice tracking, aging analysis, and dispute resolution

• Drive and monitor collections activities to improve cash flow and reduce DSO

• Perform revenue and AR reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure accurate financial reporting

• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities across revenue and AR

• Utilize NetSuite for revenue accounting, AR management, reconciliations, and reporting

• Leverage Salesforce for contract review, order management, and revenue data alignment

• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to streamline revenue-to-cash processes

• Improve processes, implement automation, and strengthen internal controls

• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with company policies

• Provide insights through dashboards and analytics on revenue, AR aging, and collections performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Strong experience in Revenue Accounting, Revenue Operations, AR, and Collections

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (mandatory) and Salesforce (mandatory)

• Solid understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)

• Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills
