This role offers the opportunity to support a global finance organization by managing key revenue accounting and accounts receivable processes.
You will contribute to accurate financial reporting, revenue recognition, and operational improvements within a fast-growing technology environment.
The position combines accounting expertise, process management, and cross-functional collaboration with teams across finance, sales, operations, and analytics.
You will play an important role in maintaining financial accuracy through reconciliations, reporting, billing operations, and audit preparation.
Working remotely from India, you will collaborate closely with international teams while aligning with U.S. business hours.

Accountabilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close activities for assigned business areas.
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and revenue-related account analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
- Perform flux analysis for revenue and accounts receivable accounts and identify key business drivers behind changes.
- Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation, collections, customer billing portals, and reserve recommendations.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, taxation requirements, and billing documentation.
- Support order-to-cash processes by reviewing contracts, managing sales order setup, and ensuring proper revenue recognition compliance.
- Coordinate sales opportunity data transfers between CRM systems and accounting platforms to maintain accurate financial records.
- Partner with teams including FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support, and Sales to improve financial processes.
- Assist with annual financial statement audit preparation and provide required documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including 1-3 years of experience specifically in revenue accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of revenue accounting principles, accounts receivable processes, and financial close procedures.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment while aligning with U.S. Eastern business hours.
- Experience with CPA certification, Big 4 accounting environments, Stripe, Salesforce, FloQast, or usage-based revenue models is considered a plus.
