Retail Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Architect to lead the design and execution of innovative retail environments that align with our brand standards and business goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, overseeing quality control, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, and driving continuous improvement in design and delivery processes.

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive architectural project plans, including design timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Lead end-to-end execution of retail projectsfrom concept through constructionensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

2. Design & Quality Assurance

• Produce and review detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Ensure all designs meet client requirements, brand guidelines, building codes, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct quality checks at various project phases to ensure high design and execution standards.

3. Resource & Vendor Management

• Allocate and manage internal design resources and external consultants/freelancers.
• Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring timely and quality delivery of architectural services and materials.

4. Process Optimization

• Identify inefficiencies in design or project management workflows and implement improvements.
• Introduce new tools, methods, or processes to enhance overall team productivity and project outcomes.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with departments such as marketing, operations, procurement, and finance to ensure seamless project alignment with business objectives.
• Present and communicate design intent to stakeholders, both internally and externally.

• Education: Degree in Architecture, AutoCAD Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 24 years of experience in retail architecture or architectural design, with a focus on commercial or retail projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, and ideally familiar with other design tools such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Previous work with retail brands, store rollouts, or commercial interiors.
• Experience managing architectural projects across multiple locations or markets.
