Job Description & Requirements

Key responsibilities:

. Supervise and inspect site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

. Monitor construction progress and report any delays, defects, or non-compliance.

. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

. Review shop drawings, materials, method statements, and progress claims.

. Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and project documentation.

. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and relevant statutory regulations.

. Attend site meetings, inspections, and assist in resolving site-related issues.

. Conduct final inspections, monitor defect rectification works, and assist with project handover.

. Perform other site supervision and administrative duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

. Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from Singapore Polytechnic or another recognized tertiary institution.

. Minimum of 3 years experience in supervising Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) building works.

. Good understanding of M&E construction practices, building codes, and relevant statutory requirements.

. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

. Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

. Proficient in preparing site reports and maintaining project documentation.

. Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and safe work practices.

. Able to work independently while managing multiple site activities and meeting project deadlines.
