Openings for reservation manager

Qualification & experience:


Candidates with minimum 2 years or above experience in front office / reservations department (hotels)
or 4 years or above tele-sales experience with a renowned tours and travel related BPO / company
Excellent communication skills, English (written and spoken) is a must
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office / Excel is mandatory

Shift: 10 a.m to 7 p.m
Week off: One rotational not on weekends
Location: Gurgaon

Job responsibilities:

Identifies new reservations / sales business opportunities to achieve personal and property
revenue goals
Understands the overall market, including competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic
trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
Handle Inbound / Outbound client calls / message inquiries on IVR / OTA's, understand
customer requirements, explain about company's offerings, and convert inquiries into sales to
meet and exceed sales targets
Successfully create business from existing customer accounts by sending them new offer
updates, packages and more
Update bookings on Central Reservation software, print sales vouchers, maintain records and
update advance payments / balance receivable, etc
Actively participate on social media travel related groups for generating more leads and reach
out to prospective customers
Schedule client visits for prospective clients and coordinate site visits
Maintain and update inquiry record database, booking sheet(s) for online and offline sales
Prepare daily check in / check out schedule for respective check ins / check outs and share
with Operations team for site preparation
Collect and maintain customer information database, contact details, IDs, etc for all check in's
Keep track of balance payments receivable, extra charges, additional services rendered and
ensure collection and update at check in / check out
Track the number of monthly inquiries through offline and online channels for sales analysis
Prepare and maintain daily and weekly reports for leads and conversions
Prepare a review follow up sheet and follow up for reviews from guests
Conduct market research, competition mapping, and keep updating the GM on new offerings
by competitors
Help in research and development of new online and offline sales channels / partners
