Job Description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

General Summary Of The Job

This sales position will be responsible for renewing perpetual software maintenance & SaaS subscription. The candidate should also be able to expand & get price increase.

Candidates should be able to engage with customers at various levels to ensure the renewals happen in time & ensure strong rapport building and consultative partnership.

A key part of this role also includes internal collaboration with cross functional teams like the account owner, pre-sales, support and finance. This role also requires working with Siemens Channel partner closely. Candidate will also be responsible for ensuring collections.

Candidates will develop a deep understanding over time of the products and solutions they are required to renew and expand. Excellent verbal and written English interpersonal skills, should be ready to travel, and should have knowledge of CRM tools. Renewal Sales Representatives are in constant collaboration with direct sales, inside sales teams and customer success teams, finance.

Essential Functions

  • Proactive in their approach to the customer, should be adaptable.
  • Should be proficient with variety of customers such Federal (Defence), Engineering Service Providers, OEM's
  • Ready to travel
  • Should have expertise to work with channel partners
  • Coordinate with Sales Reps, Customer Success Managers, and other teams as necessary to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Manage renewal sales pipeline and report sales activities and KPI's in regular sales meetings.

Education and Experience Requirement:

  • Should have 8-10 years experience in account management, renewals & SaaS. Experience with Federal and PSU's would be an added advantage
  • Sales training that has included negotiation, upselling, and objection handling
  • Engineering degree preferred

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Normal office environment. Often requested to work long hours at quarter-end, Year end.
