Job Description

1. To ensure that customer processes run smoothly for sustainable customer loyalty. Key account managers stay in close contact with their customers, from analysing potential.

2. This role is to maintain and add value to the freight forwarding, solutions. This role is also accountable for developing business solutions that improve our customer's supply chain performance and reduces costs. This role reports to the Managing Director and will work across functional organizational lines.

3. Address customers enquiries responsible to update customers on shipment status and on shipment movement and arrangement & liaise with customers to obtain necessary information for shipping documentation.

4. Maintaining positive and collaborative partnership between existing key clients and company

5. Managing operational bottlenecks and key issues with key clients swiftly, catering to their complaints with consultative approach

6. Comprehending the needs and wants of the key clients, and provide solutions on the same

7. Ability to adapt to new requests and changes of the clients

8. Maintaining open communication channels between company and the key clients

9. Managing strategic initiatives to improve service to clients

10. Conducting open collaboration and negotiation with key clients to establish performance key delivery milestones and timeline.

11. Establishing and managing the approved internal budget for the operation.

12. Collaborating with various internal stakeholders to support key client account in ensuring top notch performance and quality of service

13. Partnering with client to understand their problems by providing added value services or up-selling

14. Managing periodic reports on timeline progress, achievements, and rewards with all related parties

15. Assisting the Business Development team as when needed in bringing new client.

16. Enter shipment data in freight management software system & coordinate closely with vendors/shipping lines/overseas forwarding agents to ensure smooth arrival and delivery to vessel , to provide necessary support to the Freight Logistics documents.

17. To validate the vendor cost and send the final cost to client upon job completion.

19. Further the position includes responsibility to develop new customer as well as maintain and grow existing customer base.
