A Business Development Executive works to improve an organization's market position and achieve financial growth. BDE defines short-term and long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events (If any)
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
