Duties:
======
Duties involve IT Release Management, change management, Infrastructure Upgrade project management, Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Environment Management, Deployment Management, Refresh Management & Information Security Compliance for Global IT Enterprise Applications in Equinix. The project involves working with various teams in IT to manage the security patching of various Operating System (OS), DB & Application, as part of Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM). Following activities will be involved:
Maintaining project management & tracking tools like Jira, Microsoft project, Microsoft excel, MS Teams Task board for IT Release Management activities
Coordinating & Managing execution of production cutover & review status updates
Documentation of all issues during the production cutover and follow up for RCA
Reviewing & sending the release communication mailers & downtime / uptime notices for Prod & Non-Prod
Handling infrastructure application projects & producing regular status reports for all projects being worked upon
Coordinate Infrastructure project execution in all non-prod & publish regular status report
Run P1 bridges & escalate (if required) for blocker integration / performance issues in supporting Release DEV, SIT, UAT & Dress Rehearsal cycles
Co-ordinating with all stakeholders in different time zones for takeover & handover
Co-ordinating & Maintaining the Release logs, Instances and Server, Database inventories
Plan & Schedule activities of Release agile deployments & manage downtime for non-Prod
Creating and tracking JIRA & ServiceNow tickets for RCA, STF & LTF for all Non-prod & Prod issues
Managing major incidents in production (MIM) as a Resolution Manager & Review communication prepared by L1s
Preparing the detailed environment refresh & readiness JIRA plan including sanities, load test & sign-off
Preparing production cutover runbook & dress rehearsal plan and co-ordination
Individual contributor & Team leader role
Managing IT Release Management team members at offshore L1
Identifying security vulnerabilities & threats in various business applications. Plan, Manage & schedule the implementation, including meetings with all required stakeholders
Working outside of core work hours to perform release Go-Live, critical maintenance/upgrade tasks on core systems on a need basis
Ensure that changes made in one environment are cascaded to other appropriate environments
Work on automation projects
Change Management & handling CRB calls including reporting
Incident management & preparing operational metrics
Holding scrum / checkpoint meetings for various projects and publishing minutes of the meeting and planning & executing those projects

Education & Experience
========================
5-9 Years of total experience in a reputed organization in release management, project management and Information Security
MCA/BCA/Diploma/B.Tech degree in computer science or a related field is generally the minimum educational requirement for this position
PMP certification, ITIL, Scrum (Optional)
