Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Nurse role based at the Crysta IVF center in Motihari. The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing fertility treatments, including IVF and IUI, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to clinical protocols. Daily responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, assisting doctors during examinations and treatments, administering medications and injections, and monitoring vital signs and treatment responses. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating with the multidisciplinary clinical team, educating patients and their partners about procedures, post-treatment care, and follow-up requirements. The Staff Nurse will uphold infection control standards, support quality assurance activities, and contribute to a patient-centric environment grounded in empathy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Valid nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or equivalent) and registration with the appropriate nursing council.
  • Experience in obstetrics, gynecology, fertility, or related reproductive health settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong patient care skills, including compassionate communication, counseling, and the ability to support individuals through emotionally sensitive treatments.
  • Proficiency in clinical procedures such as medication administration, IV line management, monitoring vital signs, and assisting in minor and major procedures.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices, clinical safety protocols, and proper handling of medical equipment and consumables.
  • Effective coordination and teamwork abilities to work closely with doctors, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Clear documentation skills and familiarity with maintaining medical records; exposure to hospital information systems or EMR is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage multiple patients, and adapt to evolving treatment schedules.
  • Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn clinic-specific software and digital tools.
  • Fluency in local language and good command of English for patient communication and documentation.
