JOB DESCRIPTION REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - RENEWABLE ENERGY
Background and Purpose
A strategic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager of BaxEnergy to lead market penetration and business development in designated region(s). Align global revenue-generating functions among BaxEnergy team and region, including Regional Marketing and Sales. This role directly supports company goal of driving top-line growth, enhancing brand presence, and ensuring result-driven sales strategy execution to deliver sustainable business success.
The Regional Sales Manager shall provide leadership, best practices of the industry, and show Yokogawa solution capability as a trusted partner. The role is responsible for effective communication to break silos within various vertical business units in the Yokogawa organization as well as growth of the business, and supporting the team in achieving organization business goals in the renewable energy sector.
Duties/Results
Jointly develop and execute a global sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets across region with BaxEnergy and regional sales.
Contribute and jointly execute Yokogawa-BaxEnergy business integration plan and models to smoothen Yokogawa renewable business operation across designated region.
Self-starter, result-driven, adaptable to change and be responsible in achieving the objectives and key results (OKRs) cascaded for the designated region.
Collaborate with BaxEnergy Sales and Marketing to plan and execute business development initiatives to achieve order intake, revenue and marginal targets.
It is important to understand that the position is required also to act as front marketing and sales, and own the responsibility from opportunity exploration up to contracting phase.
Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners to expand market share and customer loyalty in designated region.
Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges in designated region.
Responsible to create and developing a robust pipeline of sales qualified leads (i.e. prospective clients) and obtain inquiries from such prospective clients in the designated region up to contracting stage.
Prepare and update the list of new projects which shall include criteria and justifications to determine the priority of each project.
Propose and develop new sales channels such as the introduction of sales agents in the local market and establishment of partnerships with key players in the renewable energy market.

Present Yokogawa Solution Capability in Renewable Energy sector.
Develop Business partners and demand generation program
Knowledge Management
Industry Domain knowledge accumulation and understanding in Yokogawa solution portfolio including new ways to deliver and measure customer value in Renewable Energy sector
Contribute to project improvement through best practices and standardization.
Contribute to Platform to learn and certify skills as well as team building and continuous improvement by sharing lessons learnt.
Go to Market Structure for Yokogawa Renewable Energy business expansion.
The Regional Sales Manager needs to understand and contribute to Yokogawa Renewable Energy Global business and marketing strategy and work with BaxEnergy and the regional sales and marketing teams to achieve results.

Implements and maintains business procedures, tracking, documentation, etc., as required to fulfill services deliverables.
Must be a self-starter and driven; able to work with limited supervision, adaptable to change, and mature.
Flexibility to help them adjust to new tasks should company or office needs change
Works closely with BaxEnergy and Yokogawa team to ensure/protect business activities are consistent with procedures and company requirements.
Understands Yokogawa policy and bridges between Yokogawa and BaxEnergy team.
Has excellent internal and external written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
Has excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize.
Has exceptional attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
Must be team oriented and dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Must be able to perform multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. Education in business administration, sales and marketing or a related field a plus.
Prior Experience:
Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, or revenue-focused roles, with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth.
Regional Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing regional teams and navigating diverse markets in the Energy and Sustainability vertical
Strategic Vision: Ability to think long-term while executing short-term initiatives effectively.
Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging data to inform decisions.
Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders.
Industry Knowledge:
o Substantial knowledge in Renewable Energy market and technology (solar PV, wind, energy storage, etc.).
o Experience in PPC to include but not limited to Photovoltaic energy, wind energy, and BESS
o Software industry and SaaS business development experience required.
Travel: up to 25-50%
