Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The role is responsible for driving sales growth, distributor performance, and market

expansion for company across Maharashtra, while being based out of Mumbai. The position focuses on strengthening distributor partnerships, expanding business through

OEMs, architects, designers, and specification-driven projects, and building a

sustainable sales pipeline aligned with Formicas brand and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive primary and secondary sales of company products across Maharashtra in line with annual targets.
  • Develop and execute territory-level sales strategies to achieve volume, value, and margin goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities across cities, segments, and applications.

Distributor Management

  • Manage and grow the distributor network across Maharashtra.
  • Monitor distributor performance, stock health, credit discipline, and market coverage.
  • Ensure effective rollout of company schemes, pricing structures, and policies.Business Expansion OEMs, Architects & Projects
  • Develop business through OEMs, architects, interior designers, consultants, and project influencers.
  • Drive product specifications, approvals, and brand preference for surfaces.
  • Track project pipelines and ensure timely conversion into orders.
  • Coordinate internally for samples, technical support, and project execution.Market Development & Brand Visibility
  • Strengthen brand presence through displays, mock-ups, launches, and local activations.
  • Support distributor-led marketing activities, architect meets, and customer engagement programs.
  • Monitor competition trends and recommend strategic actions.Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Address customer concerns related to pricing, delivery, or service in coordination with internal teams.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for in the Maharashtra market. Reporting & Governance
  • Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the Sales Head India.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, ethics, and reporting discipline.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, distributor interactions, and project tracking.

Key Deliverables / Expected Outcomes

  • Achievement of Maharashtra sales targets for Company products.
  • Strong, compliant, and high-performing distributor network.
  • Increased contribution from OEMs, architects, and project-based sales.
  • Improved market penetration and brand visibility.
  • Robust sales pipeline ensuring sustainable long-term growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA / Postgraduate in Sales & Marketing preferred).Experience
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in B2B / channel / project sales.
  • Proven experience managing distributors and large territories.
  • Exposure to building materials, laminates, surfaces, interiors, or allied industries preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
  • High ownership, accountability, and result orientation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra.

Nature of the Role

  • Individual contributor role with end-to-end responsibility for Maharashtra.
  • Based in Mumbai, with frequent travel across the state.

High visibility role with direct interaction with senior leadership Performance-driven.

Salary :- 15 to 20 LPA
