Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job:

The Regional Sales Manager is a member of the global HPC leadership team. This individual will execute on the business strategy and marketing plan, and commercialize new product innovations for the Cleaning Goods, Personal Care & Pharma business in India. Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, this position will identify and develop new customers/markets and drive actions which positions the business for short term and long-term success.

About The Job (Job Responsibilities):

  • Lead a team of minimum 2 account managers.
  • Active and thoughtful engagement in the HPC Leadership Team.
  • Grow the business profitably.
  • Implement value pricing to ensure full value of Nouryon's offering is received.
  • Sets price, owns contracts, and manages customer decisions for the India organization.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to grow share of wallet.
  • Establish and build senior-level relationships with key decision makers and buyers at direct customers.
  • Grow the selling project opportunity pipeline, using application science as a key offering.
  • Ensure disciplined management and performance of distribution channels.
  • Demonstrate progress in improving discipline around Demand planning.
  • Utilize marketing plans and value propositions to improve position of technology into chosen markets.
  • Communicate compelling customer and competitor insights back to the Marketing and R&D organizations.

We believe you bring (Education & Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Engineering-related discipline, candidates with an MBA are desirable.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, technical service, R&D, or product management roles, with preference for experience in the home and personal care chemical industries.
  • Candidates who have experience working for a cleaning goods, personal care, and/or pharmaceutical product manufacturer are also encouraged to apply.
  • Fluency in English; other relevant languages a plus.
  • Comfortable working across global cultures.
  • Results oriented
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Customer negotiations.
  • Business software, such as SAP, CRM, Salesforce.com, Arkieva, Anaplan.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
