Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end business performance and P&L of the assigned city/region, driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
- Lead city operations, ensuring seamless execution across logistics, last-mile delivery, fulfilment, and customer experience.
- Monitor and improve key business and operational metrics, including revenue, cost, productivity, service levels, delivery turnaround time (TAT), and customer satisfaction.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency while maintaining service quality.
- Develop and execute city expansion strategies, including launching new hubs, scaling operations, and increasing market penetration.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, including City Managers, Operations Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive workforce planning, resource allocation, and performance management to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Business teams to solve operational challenges and drive strategic initiatives.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, solve business problems, and make informed decisions that improve city performance.
- Ensure adherence to operational SOPs, compliance standards, and process excellence across all city operations.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer obsession within the region.
- Drive business reviews, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for senior leadership.
Must Have
- 3–5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Last-Mile Delivery, Quick Commerce, E-commerce, or Hyperlocal businesses.
- MBA from a Tier-1 B-School (IIMs) or B.Tech/Engineering from a Tier-1 Institute (IITs).
- Demonstrated experience owning or significantly influencing the P&L and business performance of a city, region, or business unit.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams, with strong people management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of improving operational efficiency, driving profitability, and delivering measurable business impact.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, ambiguous, and rapidly scaling environment.
