Key Responsibilities:
- Handle chargeback and dispute recovery cases related to digital payments, banking transactions, and merchant settlements.
- Manage and respond to cyber complaints and BO (Bank Ombudsman) complaints within defined timelines.
- Investigate disputed transactions by coordinating with banks, payment gateways, and internal departments.
- Prepare and maintain detailed MIS reports using MS Excel for daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Analyze root causes of disputes and suggest process improvements to reduce future chargebacks.
- Communicate with customers and merchants to resolve transaction-related issues effectively.
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping for all dispute and recovery cases.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of chargeback, dispute, and recovery processes in the digital payment or banking domain.
- Familiar with cybercrime complaint handling and escalation procedures.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound understanding of banking operations and digital payment systems.
- Computer literate with attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Background:
- Experience working in Fintech, Banking, Payment Gateway, or Financial Services sectors.
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance teams handling customer disputes or fraud cases.
