Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Salem for a Rebar Detailer. The Rebar Detailer will create detailed and accurate shop drawings for reinforcing steel based on architectural and structural designs. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural drawings, steel detailing, collaborating with engineers and clients to ensure project requirements are met, and utilizing RebarCAD detailing software. Precise Rebar Detailers play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and success of construction projects.

Qualifications:

Diploma / B.E in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.

Requirements :

• 2-5 years of experience as a Rebar Detailer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for Rebar Detailing and design.
• Good technical and domain knowledge for Rebar Detailing as a US Standards.
• Must possess sound knowledge of various technical aspects involved in Rebar Detailing.
• Coordinating with Team members to get the shop drawings on time.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate rebar shop drawings based on structural and architectural plans.
• Create Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) in standard formats.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and relevant codes (ACI)
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design issues.
• Estimate and calculate required rebar materials.
• Review and interpret construction blueprints clearly.
• Work with checkers and team leads to correct and finalize drawings.
• Ensure timely submission of quality drawings.
• Keep updated with industry standards and rebar detailing tools.
