The Company is a leading supplier of the Hot runner Systems, Hot runner Controllers Sequential gate timers and spares. It caters all segments i.e. Automotive, packaging, white goods, home appliances, electric and electronic parts PVC Segments etc.

Job Description: Service Manager Tooling*

Location: Vasai - Mumbai

Experience: Minimum 8-10+ Years

*Role Overview*

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager Tooling with strong exposure to the Automotive and Appliance tooling industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tooling services, mold maintenance, supplier coordination, and internal customer support while driving productivity, cost optimization, and compliance with quality standards.

*Key Responsibilities*

Overall responsibility for mold maintenance, mold development, and ECN implementation

Conduct design studies and feasibility analysis for new and existing tools

Handle supplier and sub-supplier coordination for tooling and technical improvements

Manage tooling documentation, HRS installation procedures, and troubleshooting of molds & HRS systems

Planning and execution of material planning, purchasing, and tooling requirements

Lead quotation discussions and commercial negotiations with suppliers

Handle critical internal customers and drive effective vendor development

Coordinate with sub-suppliers for resolving technical issues and implementing improvements

Implement cost-saving initiatives in molds and assembly line fixtures to:

Increase production efficiency

Reduce cycle time

Maintain records and documentation for customer audits and IATF audits within timelines

Prepare and present monthly tooling department reports covering technical issues, actions, and improvements

Plan, schedule, and monitor daily departmental activities

Prepare and monitor manpower resource work programs to ensure optimal utilization and smooth coordination

*Skills & Competencies*

Strong technical knowledge of tooling, molds, HRS systems, and assembly fixtures

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience in vendor development and supplier management

Sound understanding of cost optimization techniques

Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills

Ability to multitask and manage cross-functional coordination effectively

Qualification

Engineering background (Mechanical preferred)
