About the Team

Regulatory & Compliance Technology function is part of Corporate Services Technology group and focused on delivering strategic platforms and solutions across Regulatory Reporting and Compliance domain, including U.S. Regulatory Reporting, KYC, AML, Sanctions, Transactions Screening etc.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantexa Technical Business Analyst (Quantexa Certified preferred) to play a key role in the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions supporting Financial Crime, KYC, AML, Customer Risk, Fraud Detection, and Regulatory Compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business analysis, data analytics, entity resolution, network analytics, and Quantexa platform expertise. The successful candidate will be expected to own critical solution components including Network Design, Data Selection & Understanding, Scoring Models, Entity Resolution, and User Interface Design while ensuring alignment with business outcomes and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and analyze Business requirements for Quantexa-based solutions for AML, KYC, fraud detection, risk analytics, customer intelligence, and compliance monitoring.
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements for Quantexa network design including supporting models, entity resolution models, network generation logic, contextual analytics, and scoring frameworks

Quantexa Solution Design:

On projects, the candidate will be expected to produce solution designs and own key aspects of implementation including:

Network Design

  • Design and define Quantexa network models and relationship structures.
  • Identify entities, relationships, and supporting datasets required for network generation.
  • Build logical and conceptual network models to support investigative and analytical use cases.
  • Ensure network designs maximize entity connectivity while maintaining explainability.

Data Selection & Understanding

  • Assess source systems and identify relevant datasets required for Quantexa implementation.
  • Analyze data quality, completeness, lineage, and business meaning of attributes.
  • Work with data engineering teams to define data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment requirements.
  • Perform data profiling and validation activities.

Score Design, Validation & Tuning

  • Design risk, fraud, AML, and customer intelligence scoring models.
  • Define scoring rules, thresholds, weighting logic, and analytical parameters.
  • Perform initial score validation, performance testing, and tuning.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to calibrate scores and optimize detection effectiveness.
  • Monitor false positives, false negatives, and scoring effectiveness.

Entity Resolution

  • Define and implement entity resolution strategies leveraging Quantexa capabilities.
  • Design matching logic, survivorship rules, and entity consolidation approaches.
  • Conduct entity resolution testing and validation.
  • Optimize matching accuracy across customer, account, transaction, and reference data domains.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve entity quality and network completeness.

UI Design

  • Design investigator journeys, case management views, dashboards, and analytical workflows.
  • Gather user requirements for search, investigation, and network visualization capabilities.
  • Define information architecture, layouts, and user interaction models.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Quantexa developers and architects on solution design and implementation.
  • Support data mapping, data modeling, and integration activities.
  • Define business rules and analytical requirements for Quantexa configurations.
  • Participate in solution walkthroughs, design reviews, and QA activities.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Create documentation including BRDs, FRDs, Solution Design Documents, Process Flows, and Test Scenarios.
  • Contribute to platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Quantexa Certified as Technical Business Analyst, along with:

Data & Analytics

  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with data profiling and data quality assessment.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Knowledge of graph/network analytics.
  • Familiarity with large-scale data ecosystems and cloud-based data platforms.

Business Analysis

  • Expertise in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
  • Experience creating user stories, process maps, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.

Quantexa Certified Professional (preferred).
