About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and automation testing frameworks. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Implement BDD tests using Cucumber for functional and regression testing.
- Create, execute, and maintain automation test scripts.
- Identify, analyze, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
- Enhance existing automation suites for scalability and reusability.
Required Skills
- Strong programming experience in Java.
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver.
- Practical experience with BDD Cucumber frameworks.
- Good knowledge of automation concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and test management tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to Have
- Exposure to API automation tools like RestAssured or Postman.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms.
Education
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
