About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting test cases across multiple platforms while collaborating with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design detailed test cases and test scenarios.
  • Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify issues and ensure accurate resolution.
  • Maintain organized and reusable test documentation and reports.
  • Support release validation and smoke testing in various environments.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to QA best practices.
  • Create and maintain test data sets for conversational and contextual validation scenarios.
  • Analyze automation results and provide insights for continuous product quality improvement.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers to strengthen automation and testing best practices.
  • Stay current with AI/NLP testing methodologies, automation tools, and emerging QA practices.
  • Follow secure development, testing, and deployment guidelines to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Exposure to test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or QTest.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to edge cases and response accuracy.
  • Experience in writing MySQL/SQL queries for validation and data-driven testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL for database validation.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum environments.
