Overview
This role requires a detail-focused QA Tester who will ensure the quality, stability, and performance of web, mobile, and API-based applications. The position involves test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and product teams. The tester will be responsible for validating workflows, user journeys, integrations, and overall functional performance before release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate time, resources, and efforts for QA activities using historical data and metrics.
- Prioritize testing activities based on business goals and risk analysis.
- Monitor QA progress and take corrective actions for deviations.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and strategies for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
- Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams for defect resolution.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and adopt industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 35 years of hands-on QA experience.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- PMP certification (preferred).
