QA/QC Engineer - Civil

ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer in the real estate sector at MODERN SPAACES you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects. You will be responsible for implementing QA/QC processes, conducting inspections, and maintaining quality standards to uphold the reputation and reliability of our real estate offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement Quality Plan (QP), Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Checklist to ensure work flow compliance are met accordingly.

2. To oversee the Quality Assurance & Quality Control System at the site

3. To supervise quality standards and enforce quality control programs.

4. To initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformity relating to Quality Control Systems

5. To arrange and coordinate internal audits and report any non-conformance to QA/QC.

6. To close out issues requiring corrective actions and implement preventive measures.

7. Preparing & tracking the status of closure of observation & NCRs

8. Maintaining detailed records of inspections and tests.

9. Regular site inspections for site ongoing works, raising internal observations & follow-ups with site team to get the same rectified.

10. To prepare the Quality review meeting points

11. Responsible for the preparation and checking of Quality plan, Method statement with respect to specifications / IS codes.

12. Maintaining all documents related to the site Quality Department, Drawing Register, and Checklist.

13. To ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed in execution of various activities.

14. Materials Management

15. Deliver Quality Toolbox Talk and conduct weekly meetings at site for guiding site engineers and workmen to achieve desired quality and improve workmanship in construction operations.

16. To ensure that approved material is being used at site and proper documentation is being done for traceability of quality checks.

17. Identification of Non-Conformities (Violation of SOP) and coordination with site team for resolving Non-Conformities (NC's) in stipulated time.

18. Sampling and Visual Checks on Concrete, Shotcrete, Cement Grout etc.

19. Experience in MIVAN Aluminium form work

20. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the QA/QC Head

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or inspection roles within the real estate or construction industry.

Knowledge of building codes, regulations, quality standards, and construction practices.

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Certification in QA/QC processes or quality management systems is a plus
