Applied Materials India VeritySEM division manufactures top notch equipment using e-bean technology for measuring the critical areas in the wafer to validate the design to its actual structure for electronic chip.

The product combines both HW and SW technologies, while our division is focusing on the SW.

We are looking for experienced QA Lead engineer with passion for Quality and Semiconductor domain.

Our Team

We are 20+ members team in SW organization and has around 7 QA/AT engineers. We are responsible for quality and value for the SW versions released and to be released.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and processes to ensure product quality.

  • Drive end-to-end system testing including functional, regression and performance testing.

  • Collaborate with development, product and apps teams to understand requirements and ensure testability.

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on testing strategies and quality best practices.

  • Review test cases and QA deliverables provide constructive feedback and coaching.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends in software testing and QA methodologies.

  • Optimize QA processes for efficiency and scalability manage tasks and documentation using Jira, Confluence, and related tools.

  • Ensure timely bugs reporting, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and quality metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years proven work experience in software quality assurance

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

  • Strong Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • Strong leadership, team player, coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Experience in Non-functional testing

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

  • Thorough Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles

  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Able to communicate with international teams and interfaces outside of local site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
