QA Java with Playwright Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Java with Playwright Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionalities and define testing requirements.
• Execute test cases, report bugs, and track defect resolution.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is unaffected by new changes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes.
• Maintain and enhance the test automation framework to increase coverage and efficiency.
• Generate and present detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficient in Java programming language and test automation frameworks.
• Strong experience with Playwright for automated UI testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
