QA Engineer - Web & Mobile Testing - Selenium/ Playwright

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with 3 5 years of experience who has a strong foundation in manual testing and has begun working with test automation using tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright. The role involves testing websites, web applications, and mobile applications to ensure high quality and reliability across platforms.

Roles, Responsibilities and Duties / Tasks and duties that define the role

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

Understand business and functional requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases

Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing

Validate UI/UX, usability, and cross-browser compatibility for websites and web applications

Test mobile applications (Android / iOS) for functionality and usability

Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools

Re-test fixes and perform regression testing during releases

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders

Automation Testing

Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and/or Playwright

Execute automated test suites and analyze results

Identify test cases suitable for automation

Learn and apply automation best practices under guidance

Must-Have Skills

3 5 years of experience in QA, primarily in manual testing

Hands-on experience testing websites and web applications

Basic hands-on exposure to automation testing

Working knowledge of Selenium and/or Playwright

Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Knowledge of test case design techniques

Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)

Good analytical and communication skills

Good to have Skills

Exposure to mobile application testing (Android / iOS)

Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript

Experience with cross-browser testing tools

Basic awareness of CI/CD pipelines

Awareness of performance or accessibility testing concepts
