Job Description: The Manual Testerwill be part of a test team working with our development team in an Agile environment to test new and existing web application products. In this role, the employee will be responsible for creating and maintaining testing strategies, plans and test cases for both manual and APIs.

• Analyzing the technical characteristics of the application systems
• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
• Developing quality assurance strategies and organizing phased testing with other QA engineers
• Helping with bug detection and fixing
• Executing test scripts and reviewing results
• Testing and analyzing the results
• Collaborating on quality assurance within a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently debug defects across all application layers (Portal, Mobile, Backend, Frontend, API, Database) and identify root causes (RCA).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using tools like Postman and SoapUI for API testing.
• Reporting and documenting technical issues
• Report bugs and errors to development teams

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of creating the Requirement Traceability Matrix.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Analyze functional documents.
• Plan and create test cases.
• Review requirements and test cases.
• Knowledge of any Test Management Tool like JIRA.
• Preparing Test Scenarios, Test Cases for module, integration and system testing.
• Executing the Test Cases & Defect Tracking.
• Knowledge of web standards and technologies including accessibility compliance.
• Knowledge of basic SQL queries will be an added advantage.

Good to Have:

• Strong experience in software quality assurance and testing of web cloud-based systems
• Automation testing Knowledge Java, Selenium, Cucumber

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Certification of ISTQB or other related Testing Management is ideal.
• Proficient in using MS office tools
• Proficient in prioritizing tasks an effort from developers
• Having experience in software development cycle from requirement analysis to development to testing and deployment to production
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
