Description
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with a passion for ensuring high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on quality assurance processes.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities work as expected after changes are made to the codebase.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on findings to the development team.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
