Job Description
We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Automation Tester to design develop and execute automated test scripts that ensure high quality software delivery The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and experience with automation frameworks and tools
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for web mobile and API applications
Framework Development Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks and libraries to improve test efficiency and scalability
Test Execution Execute automated test suites analyze results and report defects promptly
Integration Integrate automated tests within CICD pipelines for continuous testing and feedback
Collaboration Work closely with developers QA and product teams to understand requirements define test strategies and ensure quality coverage
Defect Tracking Log track and validate defects using tools such as JIRA Azure DevOps or similar platforms
Maintenance Regularly review and refactor existing automation scripts to ensure they remain effective and up to date
Reporting Generate and communicate test results metrics and automation progress to stakeholders
Required Skills And Qualifications
3 6 years of experience in test automation within agile development environments
Strong experience with at least one test automation tool or framework such as
Web Selenium Playwright Cypress TestNG or Cucumber
API Postman RestAssured Karate or SoapUI
Mobile Appium or Espresso
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages eg Java Python JavaScript or C
Solid understanding of QA methodologies SDLC and agile testing principles
Experience integrating tests with CICD tools Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps etc
Familiarity with version control systems Git Bitbucket
Excellent analytical debugging and problemsolving skills
