We are looking for an innovative and experienced quality analyst to join our team.
The quality analyst is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements, and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines.You will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly.To be successful as a quality analyst, you should demonstrate strong attention to detail and have analytical and problemsolving abilities.
The ideal candidate must be able to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Mandatory experience on Mobile Money/ e-Wallet/ Prepaid recharge/ credit card payment/USSD/Commission solutions (Knowledge of Comviva Mobiquity solution will be a plus)
Mandatory experience of API Testing, Mobile Application and web applications Hands on experience on writing complex SQL queries
Hands on experience on Unix Experience of Automation (Java & Selenium) is highly desirable, Rest Assurance, J-Meter etc.
Experience in defining test strategies: identify what needs to be tested, when, how - and the corresponding risks
Experience in setting up test frameworks, test environments and test data to execute test cases
Demonstrable experience of test case design & Review
Experience of Jira, Slack & Confluence desirable
Experience in non-functional testing (performance and security) will be a plus
Liaise with external teams to gather and understand requirements
Proven ability to work collaboratively in team to deliver a technical solution
Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met
Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product
Identify and remedy defects within the production process Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
Compile and analyze statistical data
Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
Draft quality assurance policies and procedures Investigate customer complaints and product issues
Must be able to collaborate with testing team, review and validate test plan and results Responsible for delivering features end to end once the development is complete 2
Understand business requirements are deliver as part of the change, validation of test cases and sign off Work with multiple teams and Partners to get changes/integrations tested on UAT and then on PROD
Work with business SPOCs to explain the UAT, review UAT test results and secure UAT sign off from Business. Track and update resolution of all defects logged during the UAT and also track KPIs for testing work
Ensure quality is maintained in testing so that the features being implemented do not impact the current services
Support all initiatives related Money changes that require country involvement in implementation
Develop skills centrally to manage Group changes standardized
Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops and training
Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
Bachelor s degree in a related field Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
9+ years of work experience, worked as a Test lead/ Quality Analyst - Experience in Fintech/Mobile wallet industry will be a plus Other requirements (Behavioral etc.)
