Job Description
General Responsibilities
Assist the Purchase and Store Manager in all Management reports for the Resort by ensuring timely availability of the same as required.
Responsible for daily operations of the Purchase Department in an orderly manner.
Follows immaculate grooming standards in line with the resort's grooming policy.
Possesses good product knowledge including types of rooms, resorts facilities, restaurant operational hours, special functions and events held at the resort.
Should be well versed in the departmental BRISOP (BrandRosettaIntegratedStandardOperatingProtocols).
Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
Maintain professional confidentiality and never disclose any information about guests and the company.
Specific Responsibilities
Assist the operational departments through local purchases on day to day basis.
Identifying requirements for goods, materials, and services.
Research potential vendors and identifying the most reliable ones.
Negotiates price with vendors.
Establishing and reviews the order quantities of purchased products.
Writing requests for bids and awarding supply contracts.
Coordinating delivery with the vendors against available storage capacities.
Product testing and quality control.
Managing budgets and payments for procurement.
Other duties as and when assigned by the Manager Purchase and Stores.
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
