Role Description The Project Manager role at Tata Play Fiber is an on-site position based in Noida. The Project Manager oversees end-to-end execution of fiber broadband projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress against timelines and budgets. This role coordinates with cross-functional teams such as network engineering, operations, vendors, and field staff to ensure smooth implementation and adherence to quality and safety standards. The Project Manager tracks risks and issues, maintains project documentation, prepares status reports, and supports continuous improvement in processes and service delivery. The role also involves engaging with internal stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals and customer experience expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, scope management, and risk mitigation.
- Experience in telecom, broadband, or infrastructure projects, preferably involving FTTH or related network deployments.
- Proficiency in using project tracking and collaboration tools, and preparing clear status reports and documentation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle operational challenges and improve project efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field; a project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, with flexibility to visit field locations as required.
