Purpose of the role:

As Digital Delivery, we believe that digital solutions can be scalable and sustainable and can be tailored to the needs of the business. The way we ensure sustainable and scalable digital solutions is by co-owning and support in driving the Asset Strategy and Strategic Partnerships (ASSP) vision, challenging the status quo, partner and collaborate with our business stakeholders and the Procurement Platform function and help ensure the digital solutions developed fit this vision.

The Digital Delivery team is part of the global ASSP Operational Excellence and Innovation organization and is responsible to help transform our digital landscape across the source to pay process. This includes implementing digital initiatives that drive data as well as process compliance and transparency to serve our customer needs better. We address the current challenges related to source to contract system and process standardization, process automation, and adopting other emerging technologies with the help of our product and platform organization.

As the Project Manager in the Digital Procurement Excellence team, you would be accountable for the following:

  • Work on the comprehensive project plan that outlines the project's scope, objectives & timeline.
  • Identifying potential project risk and develop risk mitigation strategies by assessing those risks and take steps to minimize their impact on the project.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to project milestones and objectives.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in sourcing initiatives.
  • Analyze supplier proposals, perform cost and price analysis, and make recommendations for supplier selection by creating digital scenarios.
  • Facilitate project review meetings and communicate project outcomes to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for configuring critical / high value projects and setting up the Sourcing Optimizer tool according to the organization's requirements.
  • Responsible for developing event templates, user roles, permissions, and event parameters.
  • Work on complex project and interpret optimization results and provide recommendations to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Co-ordinate with PMO and Platform to support deployment of the digital solutions.
  • Evaluate Automation process within Source to Contract and co-ordinate with platform and business till final deployment.
  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure a smooth transition to any new systems or processes.
  • Developing and deliver training programs to educate procurement team members and other users on how to effectively use the new tool.
  • Responsible for maintaining procurement-related dashboards providing stakeholders visibility into procurement performance and key metrics.
  • Oversees project closure process, including finalizing deliverables, obtaining signoffs, conducting project reviews, and capturing lessons learned for future projects.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and coordinating with them on various procurement activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of eSourcing processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of eSourcing initiatives with overall business objectives.

Critical qualifications/skills/experience:

  • Minimum 10 + years of work experience in Sourcing Optimization
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques and the capability to interpret and present complex data sets is an essential requirement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager. PMP Certification will be an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management skills are essential for prioritizing tasks.
